Our client is an exclusive and award winning Country House Hotel with a 2 AA Rosette restaurant that boasts exquisite rooms that are all individually decorated and conference and banqueting rooms.
You will be working in the kitchen working across all sections running a section and preparing food for the restaurant and banqueting operation. You will also be required to cover for the Head Chef in their absence, managing and training junior members of the brigade, ensuring the consistent food quality standards and for following standard operation procedures within the kitchen.
To apply for this position you will be an organised Sous Chef with good all round experience of each section in the kitchen, you will also be a team player who is willing, committed and extremely passionate about good food.
Our client is seeking an individual with previous experience which includes having worked in a country hotel kitchen or a large 4*/5* hotel kitchen combined with a vast amount of experience of working with fresh seasonal and local produce and preparing food from scratch to a very high standard.
Our client is able to offer a salary of £24'000 to £26'000, a fabulous working environment, group discounts, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, reduced hotel stay within other stunning properties within the group and the possibility of accommodation.
