Located in a beautiful part of St Albans this Gastro pub is looking for a Head chef who will be working alongside the General Manager and running all aspects of running a busy kitchen. As Head Chef you will help create new and exciting dishes for the menu using all fresh ingredients. The vision is very rustic British with med twist. It needs someone who would be willing to push the boundaries a bit and really take hold of this place.
The owners are great and have a real passion for what they do, they will give you evey back up and very little intervention. It will be down to you to run as you wish.
You will need to have a strong background in a similar establishment and be ready to take some new ideas with you.
The team here are small and friendly as push a positive approach to work, they will make you feel welcome. The owners are very focused on Quality not quantity and can offer the taker of this position good solid training and development.
They are offering around £25,000 plus Quaterly bonus. This will be a live out position.
